Risco de Famara - North Part

The Risco de Famara from the Mirador del Rio North offers wonderful views on clear days.

From the parking lot at the Mirador del Rio a dirt road continues north all the way up to the Risco. Here one can still walk several kilometers on relatively flat terrain to the northernmost accessible point of Lanzarote. This is rewarded by wonderful views of the islands of La Graciosa, Alegranza and Montaña Clara. Also from here a unique vision is possible on the coast at Órzola with Caletones and the beach Playa de la Canteria. All of this only in clear weather. This region can wander for hours without meeting anyone.
