Caletones, the snow-white beaches of Lanzarote

Lonely snow-white beaches of fine sand and heavenly peace

The snow-white sand and the rest is so special about the Caletones at Órzola on the north coast of Lanzarote. On two beaches can easily naked bathe, sunbathing and hiking.

At the "Caletones", the white beaches at Órzola, you ride on the way from Arrieta to Órzola, without seeing them. There is only one that you drive into the lava desert of Malpaís de la Corona successively by two white sand fields. Sometimes there are even sand drifts on the road. Even on satellite imagery this "Caletones" are visible. At the sea end of the sand fields found in each case a bay with fine white sand.

The Nudist Beaches

Coming from the direction of Arrieta, the first bay is the "Caleta de Mojon Blanco". Barely one kilometer to reach is the beach "Caleton Blanco". On both beaches is mainly practiced nudism. On both beaches is left of each road a small parking lot. From there head out the road go on narrow paths to the sea.
Naturist especially appreciate the extensive dunes of the beach "Caleton Blanco" for sunbathing. Because of the many cliffs and the often violent surf bathing in the sea is not without problems. These two beaches are not crowded, often deserted.

The Lagoon

The third Caletones the beach, the bay "Charco de la Laja" just before you reach Órzola. Turn right a short gravel road leads to a parking lot near the beach. Charco de la Laja is a large, shallow lagoon with no surf. The lagoon is on the local residents very popular. On weekends, public holidays and in August (vacation month general) here the hell is going on. In contrast, other times it's very quiet lagoon. There are happy families with children to the lagoon. Nudism is therefore at the Charco de la Laja not welcome. A visit to the lagoon but is still very recommended.
